This week’s tips are all things you can do with white vinegar.
1. Add about half a cup of vinegar to your rinse cycle to soften your clothes.
2. Spray vinegar and blot with cloth on pet accidents to get rid of smell and prevent stains.
3. Pour a cup of baking soda and a cup of vinegar to your clogged drain. Leave it until its done foaming and then flush with a cup or two of boiling water.
4. To repel ants spray vinegar around doorways and other areas where you find them.
5. Spray vinegar on grass/weeds to kill them.
6. To clean coffee pots, kettles, and other items with calcium buildup soak them in vinegar and hot water.
7. Make old paint brushes like new by soaking them in heated vinegar for a few hours. When done rinse in soapy water.
8. Clean your toilet naturally by putting a cup of baking soda and a cup of vinegar in the bowl, let set for around 15-30 minutes and clean like normal.
9. Mix 50/50 water and vinegar and spray on shower door and let sit wipe and rinse to remove soap scum.
10. To clean your oven make a paste of baking soda and water spread all over the over then spray with vinegar, let sit for about an hour, wipe and rinse.
