		<description>My mother always wrote thank you notes and she taught me the importance of them.  So, today, I write thank you notes.  I just think it is polite. I realized that you and I are not the norm.  I rarely get a thank you card for gifts I give or send. I think the most important ones are to send a thank you note when someone mailed or shipped you a gift. They may never know if you received it, if you don&#039;t send a thank you note.  I have wondered many times if my nieces and nephew get their gifts that I ship. Just wanted to add that.
BTW, I LOVE the thank you cards at Target. They are adorable.  That is where I usually get mine.
