
Last week, I asked what your crafty ideas or traditions were for Thanksgiving. Looks like a lot of your Turkey Day activities have to do with… turkeys!

My mom always made a turkey out of a big brown paper bag. It had a slit in it’s back which we “stuffed” with our blessings written on slips of paper. Usually we did this through the entire month of November. On Thanksgiving, we then dumped them out the turkey’s contents and read them before our thanksgiving meal.
I love this idea! I'll have to file that one away for next year!

- a real serving plate (they sell acrylic ones at the dollar store)
- green construction paper
- tissue paper (green, red, and yellow)
- 3 paper lunch bags
- paint (brown and red)
- play dough (orange and green)
- green pipe cleaners
- cotton balls
- newspaper
- uncooked noodles
