The 1~2~3 Way to Paint!

home The 1~2~3 Way to Paint!Paintng a room can be exhausting…You have to pick out the colors and make sure they flow through out the home…It can be even more exhausting when you and your partner have to agree! So, here is what I tell my clients to make it as easy as 1~2~3!

Here you see two different colors used...

Instead of picking one color to paint your walls, try three on the same color chip…They will all blend but will be much more interesting than just one color. Find a paint chip of the colors you want…Pick three colors on the paint chip that are next to each other or try one away from the color or colors….depending on how dark you want to go in the room. They are all from the same color family but they get darker as they go down the color chip…Paint different rooms one of the three colors…Example paint the entry the darkest color, the living room the lightest, and the dining the middle color…Or mix it up…ceilings the darkest and the walls the lightest…or the largest wall the darkest and the rest of the walls the middle color…Any combination will work because they are from the same color family…It's a great look! It works well with open floor plans where rooms run together or can be been from other rooms!
