The Dollar Store is a Crafter's Best Friend

I peruse the Dollar Store isles at least once a week. They continue to get new items in all the time and I'm always finding something useful for crafting, from wooden spoons and shower rings to glass plates and craft foam. I'm still figuring out what I can do with hangers, a shower curtain & a spray bottle. For items that only cost $1, how can you beat it?

  1. Good Crafts store for kids

  2. This year for cmas i want to give the girls a huge bin of dress up stuff. But I was not up to making it all myself. Mom mom called me a couple weeks ago so excited because the dollar store had the best dress up stuff! Don't know if that was a craft thing but I was sure excited!

I actually just went to the dollar store yesterday and purchased items for Operation Christmas Child. I agree that it is a fabulous place to find fun things on the cheap!!

  4. We use our dollar store spray bottle to "color" the snow outside. We fill the bottle with water and add a few drops of food coloring to add some color. Then we either send the kids outside with the colorful bottles or we fill up mixing bowls with snow and bring the cold stuff inside. We all have fun watching the snow change colors!
