3 Tips for Your Last Minute Holiday Centerpiece

home 3 Tips for Your Last Minute Holiday Centerpiece

While most of us have great intentions of having our holiday centerpieces all planned out in advance, reality is we are sometimes decorating our tables at the last minute!

So how can you put together a beautiful centerpiece just minutes before guests arrive?

Here are three foolproof tips:

1) Gather Candles. The more the merrier, don't worry if they don't all match. Set them on glass plates, coasters or in small votive jars to protect your table. If possible, use unscented candles so they don't compete with the delicious smell of your meal!

2) Go natural. Run around and gather up small fruits and vegetables for color and interest, cut some grasses or leaves from your yard to fill small glass jars. Mix them in around the candles!

3) Elevate. Use cake plates, pedestals, pretty boxes, bricks, books or whatever you can to vary the height of your tablescape, particularly the centerpiece.

Don't overthink it! Turn the lights down, light your candles and greet your guests! Now you have a beautiful centerpiece that was as easy as 1, 2, 3!
