Tonight at the Movies

Released in theaters Wednesday was the movie 'The Rocker'.  The Rocker stars Rainn Wilson. Wilson is hilarious in his role as Dwight Schrute on The Office.  I imagine that his humor also carries over to his movie role in The Rocker when a failed 80's hair band drummer is given a second chance.  The movie is PG-13 for drug and sexual references, nudity, and language. It runs for 102 minutes, and you will also see Christina Applegate appear in it, and Emma Stone from SuperBad.Let us know what you think if you see it.  Also, are there any other big Office fans looming around here?

Also in theatres this weekend is House Bunny. This flick stars Anna Faris. She plays Shelly, a playboy bunny, that is unceremoniously kicked out of the mansion.  Upon being booted out, Shelly has nowhere to go until she finds a job as a house mom to seven socially clueless sorority girls who are about to lose their sorority house.  You might remember Anna Faris from Scary Movie 4, Brokeback Mountain, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, and the birth mother of Chandler and Monica's twins on Friends. Other people you might see in the movie include Hugh Hefner and The Girls Next Door, Holly Madison, Bridgette Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson (all playing themselves).  Former American Idol runner up Katharine McPhee is also in the film, along with Emma Stone from SuperBad.
