I totallly feel for you when you say you have to go to two thanksgiving parties. It's really hard to divide time between the families that mean so much to you. Although thanksgiving can be quite tiring with all the preparations, it only happens once a year. Let's make great memories!

My advice on getting through the day? Refuse.

My parents live on the other side of the country, but if they lived here near my husband's parents, I'd do what my sister-in-law does and alternate who we spend the day with every year. None of us have hurt feelings that we have to miss her and her family every other time.
