We're already thinking about handmade gifts the girls can make for family and friends. One of our projects is a simple and useful Post-It Note Holder. As a bonus, it features your child's artwork or photo!
Supplies:
- acrylic photo frame (ours are 4×6")
- post-it notes
- artwork cut to the size of your frame
Create a new piece of artwork or cut-up a collage, finger painting, etc. for your insert. Slide it into the frame (frame is laying down) and stick your post-it notepad on top. Easy! Here's a few more ideas to get you started:
Gift Ideas:
- Make a set of 12 inserts – one for each month
- Include extra post-it notes
- Include a pen
- Let your toddler finger paint or watercolor a large piece of paper; cut into pieces and make lots of notepad holders!
Happy creating + gifting!

I already have the frames and Grandma's birthday is this week!! She uses TONS of post its so it the perfect present! Thanks.
This is a wonderful idea for our neighbors to whom we give just a little something each year. I'm going to use some cute scrapbooking paper and put in a photo of my kids, but explain to the neighbors they can substitute a photo of their g'kids/pets/etc.
Thanks for passing this wonderful idea along.
That's a great idea!
