		<description>I&#039;m currently training with a run/walk plan (John Bingham&#039;s)and preparing for my first ever marathon in November.  I never thought I could run as far as I have (18mi) so I must agree that the run/walk is the way to go.</description>

		<description>I agree, a run/walk program is a fabulous way to advance your running.  I used to run until I was exhausted and then walk for a while... no real pattern. But when I started using a 4:1 (run:walk) my endurance increased monumentally.  I&#039;m now running a 14:1 pattern, but I find that continuing with the periodic walk breaks helps utilize different muscles so I don&#039;t get fatigued as quickly.</description>
