I have just finished studying my way through 1Samuel, and am now on 2Samuel - but Hannah's story is inspiring. And Hannah's Prayer is so similar to Mary's Magnifcat in the New Testament.

I am in awe of what Hannah did - and cannot imagine how hard that was to completely hand her baby over to the Lord in the way that she did. A great example of how one should follow through on promises indeed.

I so hear you on getting caught up in the mundane - we all do it. I'm finding though with the small little references, and efforts at regular prayer - teaching my children to talk to their friend Jesus, we're making progress.

I have to constantly remind myself to do it and yes, there are days when they get more Sesame Street than prayer - but we're getting there.

Thank you for your lovely reminder :)
