Okay, okay. I admit it. I'm a dreamer. I remember growing up and hearing these familiar words: Sweetie, you've got to get your head out of the clouds or honey, those are just dreams.
It wasn't until years later that I understood: if you dare to dream it, you can have it. And so…
I dream of a world where women can receive equal compensation for equal work regardless of their field of expertise. I dream of a world where the freedom to openly express one's faith isn't viewed as religious oppression but rather, a privileged expression. I dream of a world where morals, ideals and principles that teach integrity and build character are embraced, not belittled. I dream of a world where people would worry less about how much they have and more about how much they can give. I dream of a world where the impossible is attainable and the unlearned–the uneducated–are teachable.
This is my world–my dream. What's yours?
