If you have a baby, you must know that everyone's favorite gift is clothes! Factor that in with a mommy who is already obsessed with cute clothes, and you have a very full closet!
Now that our baby is bigger he is able to wear a lot of his really fun and cute outfits. What was starting to happen though is I would find a really cute outfit new with tags that I had forgot I had!
I looked online for baby closet organizers and wasn't very pleased with the selection.
Luckily, much like his nursery art and mobile, I decided to make my own!
This craft was easy breezy. Here's what you need:
- Wooden Door Hangers (be sure to get the thick ones, there are thin one which are less expensive but they don't take the paint well)
- Craft Paint
- Pain Markers
- *Ribbon (optional)
(These items ended up costing around twelve dollars. Though I did own the paint pens so it was less expensive)

I painted the wooden door hangers first with white as a primer. You can spray paint them but I usually make a mess and don't care for the smell. I find that the acrylic craft paint works just fine.
Then I decided to paint the dividers the color of my nursery. So each was blue and green.
Finally I embellished the closet dividers with fun patterns using the paint pens.
Ta Da!
My closet has removable bars but the tip part was a bit chunky so I decided to hang them with a ribbon. This a great option if your closet bar is not removable. I also like it because the ribbon makes a great divider and it's easy to spot.
Now I can spot his clothes easily and remember to wear all his cute outfits! These would actually make a great gift for an expectant mom too!
