family Back to School Tips: Getting your Child to Like (or LOVE) School

Though it was a little tough to swallow the fact that none of my children seemed to care that I was leaving them that first day of pre-k (especially since I was in tears), I know that it's a sign of something very positive. They LOVE school. They were disappointed to find out that there is no school on the weekends. Really.

I'm hoping this excitement doesn't wear off, because I think it's so important that our children like going to school. Who wants a struggle every morning? There are households that have major issues every single school day trying to get their children motivated to get ready and out the door. No one wants that kind of start to a day.

How do we help our kids learn to like (or even LOVE) school?
