Love Birds

I am happy to be writing this Brag on Him post because my husband most certainly deserves a bit of brag time. Justin works 5-6 days a week anywhere from 45-60 hours to support our family of five. We have two boys together both of which are in diapers and he is the step father to my only daughter who is six years old. I admire that my husband is willing to wake up at 4am every morning Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday just to make sure his family is financially supported.

My husband is the most amazing person in the world. I admire everything about him and quite honestly there is little to complain about, however, I am female and do certainly nag on occasion if I had to take the trash out or if I had to bring the laundry down to the dryer in the basement.

Being married a little over 2 years I can say we are still living wedding bliss. Each day my husband makes sure to give me a kiss and tell me he loves me before leaving for work. Lunchtime break is a quick five minutes of him eating a sandwich, hugging the kids, and me before rushing off to work again. When my husband arrives home from a nine hour work day he takes the time to say hey to the boys and give me a kiss.

Even though my husband is not a man of many words, what he does say hits my heart the most. This man still has a way of making me have butterflies in my stomach and my heart throb after three years of being together in a relationship. I will never say we have a perfect relationship but I am proud to say we have communication. Justin was the one who opened my eyes up to open communication and seeing another persons side of the story before getting upset.

Last week my husband was walking in the backyard with our first born son and came back with a handful of black eyed suzanne's my favorite wild flower. The flowers were placed in a vase and he had our son bring them to me while I was working at my desk, tears came to my eyes.

You see it's the little things that matter most, it's the little fact that my husband does know how to take a moment to make my day better than it was before he came home from work. My husband can steal my heart ten times over with a quick look of his eyes and a simple "I Love you" uttered from his lips.

Brandy Tanner known as Brandy Ellen in the virtual world is a married mother of three with two of children in diapers. Although being a mother is rewarding she has learned that being a Mom is the most challenging job she has ever had. Always one to lend a helping hand, she knew there had to be a way to make others smile on a daily basis and thus became Happily Blended.
