Bringing Sunshine Indoors

During the winter months, it's sometimes hard to remember how sunshine looks or feels. Why not consider bringing some sunshine indoors by decorating with yellow?

Pantone, a world-renowned authority in color, has chosen a shade of yellow called Mimosa as "The Color of the Year for 2009." If you don't already have yellow incorporated into your home decor, now is a good time to consider it!

If you love yellow, you can choose a favorite shade for walls and upholstery, or add accents in this cheerful color.

Yellow evokes happiness. And what could be more blissful than happiness at home-sweet-home?

Love the pictures- and great idea to use yellow- I live in a home where most of the walls are a golden yellow color and I love it.

    Beautiful!

  3. Yellow is my absolute most favorite color. I just hope that there is a bit of money in the budget to get a few nice decorating items while yellow is available. My kitchen is done up in yellow and green and is my favorite room in the whole house.

  4. I've always loved yellow with black. Glad to see it's making it's way back.

What is your breakfast style?
