Childproofing your home series: kitchen and bathrooms

parenting Childproofing your home series: kitchen and bathrooms

When my triplets were just beginning to be mobile, I was completely overwhelmed. Sure I was sleeping more at night (thank goodness), but the days were exhausting! These three independently minded little people seemed determined to explore in three different directions…leaving me frazzled as I tried to keep them from harm. Once I had the appropriate childproofing done, however, I could begin to enjoy watching their curiosity as it developed in a safe environment.

Childproofing your home is especially important when you've got 2, 3 or more babies/toddlers, because it is even harder to keep track of their every move.  And while no childproofing device is a good substitution for supervision, such a device can at least slow your children down…giving you precious moments to intervene before someone gets hurt.

This series will showcase videos from child safety expert, Kimberlee Mitchell. Today's video focuses on the importance of childproofing your kitchen and bathrooms.
