I just visited a friend homes who had the most beautiful and intriguing kitchen counter top. It was copper, more than just a counter top; it doubled as art.
I love how it reacts to its environment. Depending on what went on in the kitchen each day it takes on a different look. Wonderfully functional surface.
Copper is a naturally self-renewing antimicrobial surface which requires no harsh chemicals for cleaning.
I love how it added warmth and character to her home — so unique.
Copper may not be for everyone…but if you can realize that copper is supposed to change color over time and don't get hung up on how it changes from day to day you will love it. Plus, it adds a touch of the "unique" to your home.
Truly like a living piece of art.

copper countertops are such a fun, unique idea. Love the fact that you can do whatever you want on them and the splots & swirls are just part of the charm.
Beautiful .. love the dark burnished look
