I love lists.
School lists, grocery lists, to do lists, packing lists…. I love the way lists help bring order to my addled brain. I also get a big charge out of crossing things off my list. My problem is that I have too many lists floating around the house and because they're always trapped beneath a stack of papers, my lists are easy to ignore.
And what's the point of having a list if you're never going to look at it?
I found a great solution to this state of "list-less-ness" when I started using an online task management tool called Remember the Milk (rememberthemilk.com). I'm on the computer frequently throughout the day, so where better to keep my collection of lists than on my iGoogle homepage? Now whenever I logon to my computer I am greeted by my task list for the week.
This FREE site allows you to:
- organize tasks by category
- view lists on your iPhone, Blackberry, Twitter or iGoogle accounts
- manage tasks from within iGoogle calendar
- prioritize tasks by date and importance
- map locations for tasks that require a destination
