Dining in the Pink

home Dining in the Pink
A theme for Feburary's table-  I tried really hard not to use "pink," I wanted to change it up a bit.  I pulled out a chocolate table cloth and thought I'd work around that…but it just wasn't coming together. Pink won out.

I went shopping through my house and was able to come up with this- Table set for Dessert-

  • Tin floral plates-
  • old fashion root-beer glasses
  • pink place-mats
  • 3 square wreaths- they are being used as a candy dish- {slide a small plate under them.}
  • white napkins

Just look through your home, everything doesn't have to be the same.  These are just some ideas to get you thinking about what you could do with the items you have.  One of the fun and easy things I made for this table were the paper hearts hanging from each chair.

I used what paper I had on hand…It didn't particularly match the place-mats etc. but I thought it would do fine.

Heart pattern and instructions.

While  I was at it I came up with a second version; using basically the same items.  {what I switched out}

  • White bowls for tin plates
  • 3 white dishes for the 3 wreaths
  • olive branches, rosemary, use what you can from your yard.

Hope this has given you some ideas; remember it doesn't have to match, if you like it together it's perfect. {it's okay to use items that aren't typically used on the dinner table, just have fun.}
