DIY: Decorative Manila Folders

home DIY: Decorative Manila Folders

These folders were so easy and fun to make. I used basic manila folders, scrapbook paper, doo dads and some extras I downloaded from The Vintage Moth {http://www.thevintagemoth.blogspot.com/}.

Trace the folder onto the wrong side of the decorative paper, cut out using scissors for the curves and a paper cutter for the straight edges. Allow an extra 'tail' at the bottom to wrap around to the back of the folder. I used a scrapbooking gluestick to attach the paper to the folder.

Embellish as desired! I made folders to hold bills, love letters, recipes, gardening tips and home decor ideas. You could make some for your children's art work, holiday ideas, etc. The possibilities are endless! Have Fun!
