		<description>Tiffany, as you can tell, I don&#039;t use textbooks or other boxed curricula because I have much greater success with so-called &quot;living&quot; books and hands on explorations.  During the elementary years, it&#039;s more about exposure and fostering a love for science.

Annie, I have a few of the original hardcovers that I have picked up at library book sales or through used book sellers.  I agree that hardcovers in general are far more durable!</description>

		<description>We just started these. My mom has them sent to my daughter every month. They are very fun and the kids love them. My oldest is just in K, so we have stage 1. It&#039;s made for a simple yet enjoyable science time. We had them as kids too. I just wish you could still buy hard cover so they&#039;d last longer. My sister still has our set from when we were kids.</description>
