Entertainment for All Ages: Family Video Games & Scrabble Giveaway

Can't get your kids (husband, ok, YOU) away from video games? What happened to good old family games like Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit?

Well family fun can still be had by all, with these video game versions of classic board games!   I had the opportunity to test out Scrabble for the DS and Trivial Pursuit for XBox 360, and it is fun to bring those games to the 21st century venue.  It's also nice to know that kids (and adults) will be using their minds and not just their fingers when playing video games.

Scrabble works vocabulary skills, pattern recognition and point strategy.  Challenge a friend in multiplayer mode.  Scrabble is available for the DS and PSP.

EA's Trivial Pursuit is the video game version of the board game.  Great to play with the family, it isn't set up for online play, (it says live, but that is for downloadable content only)  but it manages to have all the bells and whistles and is visually appealing. entertainment Entertainment for All Ages: Family Video Games & Scrabble GiveawayThe questions are tough, and current.   This would be great for family game night or night with friends and neighbors.  Trivial Pursuit is available for Playstation 3, Playstation 2, and Nintendo Wii also.

Now the fun part.  I have 3 copies of Scrabble either for DS or PSP to giveaway, one to each of 3 lucky readers!
