When I think of Etsy, I think of crafty goodness and hours of shopping from the comforts of my couch. Doesn't everybody?
I was unaware the one could buy crafting supplies and patterns on Etsy until recently. Now I can feed both of my addictions – buying stuff and doing crafts! My husband will be thrilled.
It turns out that there's an entire section on Etsy that's dedicated to patterns. At this moment, it contains 29,144 items!
I could do all of my Etsy Elite columns for the next three years on patterns, and I would still miss some of the great ones. You'll have to go look around for yourself.
That didn't stop me from choosing a few favorites. I chose items from four very different categories to give you an idea of what's there.
Enjoy!
Carolina Patchwork

I've recently started quilting. I love the idea of a quilt, and I love that it takes a good long time to make one.
Emily of Carolina Patchworks stocks more than a dozen original patterns for those daring enough to attempt their own, and she also sells finished quilts for the instant gratification types.
Dawk's Art

How cute is that? What little (or big!) person do you know who would play tic-tac-toe with chickens and eggs?
Debra of Dawk's Art sells patterns of all kinds of different subjects. You could use them for tole painting or paint them onto any number of different surfaces. Debra also sells finished hand-painted pieces.
Purl.Etsy.com

Amy Gaines, author of Cute Little Animals, has an Etsy shop where you can buy knit or crochet patterns for all sorts of little creatures – some realistic and some more cartoonish. There are dolls, snails, robots, skunks, goldfish, and even garden gnomes. They're equally adorable. Amy doesn't sell finished products, though, so you'll have to learn how to knit or crochet to get one of these cuties!
Gulf Coast Cottage

Gulf Coast Cottage sells patterns for all sorts of hand-sewn toys. I found play food, a felt Easter basket, a toaster, a tea set, a doll, pots and pans, and a tool set. Every time I visit Gulf Coast Cottage, I see something new. Get out your needle and thread! Gulf Coast Cottage doesn't sell finished products.
I hope you enjoyed this week's picks. If you see an item or shop that you'd like to see featured, please drop me a line!

Ohmigosh, those are TOO CUTE! I'll have one of each! *lol*
