It's no secret that I am a huge fan of vintage styles. From a tweed, tailored suit jacket and pencil skirt to a sweet floral swing skirt or cropped jeans, white t-shirt and flats, I just love the image. The 50's were all about being smartly polished yet extremely feminine.
The 50's embraced feminine curves and believe me, if I could wear a poodle skirt, saddle shoes and a cardigan everyday and get away with it, I totally would! With the current fashion trends leaning towards classic pieces and bold accessories, there is no better combination of both than the fashion styles of the 1950's. Finding vintage inspired pieces that are classic enough for a PTA lunch but can still be sexy enough to compete with the likes of Marilyn, Grace and Audrey are easier than you might think!
