Frugal Tip: Snacks For Your Kids

I love these pre-packaged snacks. They are so handy to grab for snack time and to stick in my kid's lunch boxes, but they are so expensive. Even if I find them on sale for $2.00 that works out to be $.33 per snack. I try to pay no more than $.17 per snack (that may sound like a strange number, but I aim for 6 snacks for $1.00).

These were all items that I had previously purchased on sale when I found them for less than 6 servings for $1. It takes me about 10 minutes to divide everything up, and then they are ready and convenient for us to grab them when we are in a hurry. I have all of the convenience without having to spend all of the money.
