I didn’t know you had silver and gold! That is awesome! I use sharpies year round in my home!
But especially for Christmas ornaments! We give them as gifts each year and we write the name and year on them with a Sharpie – My husband has ornaments all the way back to his birth year!! I am excited to continue the tradition with our children!
i would make my holiday cards,. and then some decorations on present weap
I am a graphic artist, and I use the ultra-fine line Sharpies to create linear drawings. My current project is a rendering of our son’s century-old home, which I will over-lay with a watercolor wash. We will frame it and put it under the tree for him!
We like to use Sharpies to decorate white wrapping paper. First we stamp it with outlines of holiday designs. Then we fill in the designs with Sharpies. Even though we use the same stamps year after year the wrapping paper always looks different.

I commented on the Sharpies blog.
I always use them on the gift tags — they never smear.
I got some plastic non-disposable cups that we’re going to have everyone decorate, write their name on their cup and use for Christmas. Much better than constantly throwing away disposable cups (and drinks because you’re not sure which one is yours any more) and they get a little holiday keepsake to take home.
I left a comment on the Sharpie blog. Loved the designer laptop idea!!

I use Sharpies to write on name tags.
This is the year i WILL label the boxes of decorations so I know just what is in each one. Heck, maybe I’ll even make a master list with #s on it so I know which boxes are missing!!!

I do a lot of machine embroidery. If I do applique and don’t get the fabric cut close enough to the stitching, I use my Sharpie markers to color in the fabric the same color as the thread so it’s not obvious. Same thing when two colors don’t quite touch each other – I fill in the gaps with Sharpies. Thank goodness they come in so many colors!

i am going to use sharpies to make ornaments for my in-laws and parents. we are going to do silhouettes of the kids and write their names and the date on there…
I’m going to use sharpies to write everyone’s names on their stockings, since I always end up splattering and gooping up the fabric paint.
I rubber-stamp my own cards and use the lovely colored sharpies to embellish.
I love using Sharpies to write on my gift tags and to write personal messages on our Christmas cards!

For my husband who likes to golf, I let my kids decorate golf balls with Sharpie pens. Now he has personalized, colorful golf balls that will stand out on the green!
