Since my business has taken off by leaps and bounds I have found myself needing to reorganize and get everything as centralized as I possibly can. So over the past few weeks, I have been on a hunt for all things that will help me become more organized.
When it comes to getting and staying organized, there are many online applications that you can use to help you get the job done. From calendars, to planners, to timers, to action step method applications, there is a tool for your organizing needs.
Of course when it comes to Google, you have the calendar, Notebooks, the health organizer, the reader for all the blogs you love to read, and even iGoogle where you can keep up with all the above. If you are savvy enough, you can keep up with your medical records, have a calendar for each family member, and even plan your meals all with Google.
Zoho is one of the best places to go for productivity, collaborations, and business applications. Like Google, they offer an email option. Zoho also offers planning, project manager, meeting and invoicing applications. It is growing pretty fast and integrates well with other applications and support systems like PayPal as well as in-home integration. It makes putting everything in one spot online simple.
If creating action steps keeps you from being organized, then try Action Method. I have just started using this application myself and so far I truly enjoy it. It helps you to make sense of your projects, break down the tasks into simple doable action steps and even brain storm. I love brainstorming! It is a radically different approach to productivity that simplifies project management and life. What I really like about Action Method is that you can buy the paper products and transfer from the computer to paper for those days when you can’t get online.
Search for project management applications, online planners, organizers, time management tools and you will find a myriad of options. There is something for every personality when it comes to discovering an online organization application that you can use and get the results you need.
Over the next few weeks, I will share a little more about each of the applications mentioned and more. I will even talk about how your personality determines the type of online organizing tool you may need. So come on and get yourself organized online.

Hi good to read your article, I can understand the need for a PM software as the business increases I faced the same thing some time back with my business! I took up Deskaway another SaaS type PM tool! Helped a lot!
I had not heard of Action Method before. Checking it out tonight. Looking forward to the rest of your posts.
Great blog, and so appropriate for today's marketplace! I was wondering how much you charge for your VA services, and what types of tasks specifically you do.
I am a freelance writer, and working on a novel, and did my website myself through siteskins.com. It all gets a bit much though, and when I get more work am thinking of hiring someone.
