We at Blissfully Domestic are thrilled to bring you this amazing giveaway from Intel: The Intel Atom Processor-powered Classmate PC Netbook. This is an awesome tool that allows your child to integrate a PC with every area of his or her education – just as we as adults use computers for almost 100% of our work in an office setting.
Intel sent me a Classmate PC to review so I could tell you all about its features. The first thing I HAD to try out was the screen that converts to a writing tablet. It was super-easy to convert and use. And – its internal sensor automatically orients the screen to whichever way you have it turned! (So great for kids!!) I love that the stylus and tablet can be used to write notes, work out math problem, draw pictures – whatever the kiddos would normally use "scratch paper" to do! And the touchscreen is GREAT for little fingers, and works amazingly well!
The Classmate PC is designed to handle whatever kiddos can throw at it - it is tough, durable, water-resistant, and more shock-resistant than your average netbook or laptop. Of course, the Classmate PC also has wireless internet capability. And? It has a built-in camera that will swivel 180 degrees, programs for art, (the ArtRage program is AWESOME!) and reading, and a program to read electronic books on (how awesome would it be to have all your kid's textbooks on their computer!? No more heavy bookbags to haul around!)
The Classmate PC can be purchased at these retailers and would make an awesome holiday gift AND educational investment for your child.
I have to say, my family and I have really, really, REALLY enjoyed the Classmate PC. My 5-year-old loves playing computer games and even he is not too young for this netbook. Next, I'm passing it along to my 10 & 12-year-old-nephews to try out! They're homeschooled, so we'll see how their mom/teacher likes it, too!
Intel has generously provided a Classmate PC for us to give away to one lucky Blissfully Domestic reader! Here's how to enter:

I love that it is water resistent. I like to eat and drink by my computer. I know I shouldn't but a girl gets hungry! Thanks!
I love the durability of this product!!!
The touchscreen is amazing! Would be so fun for games and drawing.
I tweeted! http://twitter.com/prismperfect/status/6383892845
Kids are constantly putting their fingers on computer screens – the touch screen should be so intuitively obvious for children to catch on to. I'd love to see how well I could catch on to a touchscreen also
The writing tablet would be amazing for class notes……and the killer Calc II problems!!
THe touch screen is awesome. A nice touch to a netbook!
The writing tablet looks great!
love the touchscreen
this would be great for my husband. he uses so many paper tablets at work to write things down – he is always on the run. he loves electronics and would never put it down – and he can write notes just like a notepad. it would become his next best friend !!!
tough, durable, water resistant….these all sound great to me! No matter how much we supervise them…the kids are hard on our laptop.

I love that it flips into a tablet.
Ghee, a lappy that water resistent. Wow!!
I think being able to write and draw right on the tablet is freaking amazing. I might have to pick one up just so I can draw on it.
I love the tablet touchscreen feature.
