Homemade Ice Cream in a Bag

We love ice cream. Who doesn't?  I have many fond memories of chasing down patiently waiting for the ice cream truck to drive down the crooked streets of my old hometown.  But nowadays we rarely see the ice cream truck and when we do he wants $3.00 a pop(sicle). So, sorry ice cream man but we'll be eating in most days.

My boys love helping in the kitchen.  They also love getting creative, which is why this Homemade Ice Cream in a Bag recipe from Kaboose is the perfect project for a hot summer afternoon.

You can probably find most of the ingredients in your pantry already and it is so simple and fun!
