I started getting Hot Flashes just about 2 years ago. For me they were constant. I didn't get the waves of hot flashes I have read about online. I thought there was something wrong with me. It was so frustrating because I couldn't function.
I read every article I could to find a solution but nothing worked. I tried straight Black Cohosh and even Soy but still no relief.
Well, I finally found a solution and I now do not experience ANY hot flashes whatsoever anymore.
It came in the form a little pill, more like a vitamin, that I get from Wal-Mart. It is the generic version of Estroven and it is called Estroblend Plus. Make sure you get the plus because the regular just isn't strong enough.
This supplement has black cohosh in it but it must be the way they blend all of the ingredients because this works when the straight black cohosh did not.
Here are some of the ingredients (that I recognize anyway):
- Green Tea Extract
- Calcium Carbonate
- Black Cohosh Extract
- Cranberry Extract
- Date Seed Extract
- Cinnamon Bark Extract
- Magnolia Bark Powder
I even use this supplement as a multi-vitamin because it has so much of what a basic multi-vitamin already offers. It costs around $10.24 a box and I buy it once a month so it is very affordable. It has 28 pills in each box. I usually forget to take it once or twice a month so that is why it lasts me a full month. Look for the white box with the green border and the yellow pill on the front.
You only have to take one caplet each day. I usually take it with dinner and if I forget I take it at night with a snack. I found that I can even skip a day or two and I don't notice the hot flashes coming back.
Try it and see if it doesn't solve your Hot Flash problems. Or, maybe you have another solution you found that worked for you. Do you want to share it?
