Anyone who has a large family knows just how expensive food is these days and just how easy it is to spend too much on food at the grocery store. But when you have multiples you start off with a larger family and have to adjust your budget immediately.
Overnight my family of four became a family of seven and I had to find a way to afford it! For the first year we spent over $300 a month on formula because I couldn't breastfeed. Now we pay around $70 a month on diapers alone!
Needless to say I have to find ways to cut costs elsewhere because until my girls are potty trained, diapers are a necessity.
Since a lot of our bills are fixed, the one place I could turn to trim our budget was our groceries. But I didn't have a lot of time for cutting coupons that didn't seem to help much anyway because they either weren't enough off or they weren't for the items I wanted.
So, when a friend introduced me to the Grocery Game I was more then intrigued. Here was a way to pay a small fee and have someone else do all the work for me! Her program matches the coupons to the sales and tells you exactly what items you need to stock up when. All I have to do is collect coupons from the paper and cut them out at the right times. It's that easy and it saves me hundreds of dollars every month. In fact, most times I go to the store I get a good 50% off my grocery bill.
Now that's savings I can take to the bank or to the store to pay for more diapers
