Mary Kay Cosmetics has new coastal colors that are making a splash!
Celebrity makeup artist Ildiko used a blocking technique to create Carol’s captivating eye look. Here’s how:
1.Using the Eye Crease Brush from the Mary Kay® Brush Collection, apply the green shade from the Coastal Colors Collection Mary Kay® Mineral Eye Color Palette over the entire eyelid. Then apply Moonstone in the inner corner of the eyelid.
2.In the center of the eyelid, from the limited-edition Coastal Colors Collection, apply a block of blue using the Mary Kay® Mineral Eye Color Palette.
3.Then, at the corner of the eye, finish with a block of Dusty Lilac.
4.Precious Pink, when applied to the brow bone, adds a gorgeous highlighting effect.
5.Finish this trend-setting eye look by applying Tahitian Gold eyeliner from the Mary Kay® Coastal Colors Collection to the bottom lashline, starting at the outer corner and drawing the line to the inner corner with Denim Frost.
6.Apply Mary Kay® Ultimate Mascara™ to the top and bottom lashes.
7.Dust Mary Kay® Mineral Cheek Color in Cherry Blossom across the cheek along with Mary Kay® Mineral Highlighting Powder in Pink Porcelain.

8.On the lips, apply Neutral lip liner and finish with limited-edition lip gloss in Caribbean Coral.

I'll admit. I don't really have time for eye shadow. With a 2 1/2 year old and a 2 month old, I need make-up that I can apply one-handed and in under two minutes!
That's why I stick to my tinted moisturizer, longlasting lipstick, bronzer, and mascara. And, every once in awhile, I throw in a little under eye concealer to my routine.
