I am Blissfully Domestic – Week 10

i am blissfully domestic I am Blissfully Domestic Week 10

I can't believe that we have been getting together every Monday night for I am Blissfully Domestic for 10 weeks now. We've been having so much fun we didn't realize how much time passed. Sounds a lot like life, doesn't it! Anyway, I hope you all have discovered many new blogs and have forged a friendship or two.

Along with a New Year comes a fresh start, so have any of you made any New Year's Resolutions? I have, which I'm using as my I am Blissfully Domestic post. It's an informal resolution, but one I hope to keep nonetheless.

I didn't make it a resolution, but a goal I have is to lose weight. I'm going to the gym, walking on the treadmill, and using a number of the weight machines to help tone up my legs, butt, abs, arms, and all the other areas of my body that need to be toned. One thing I also need help with is eating healthy. Kate at A Simple Walk has a recipe that looks awfully healthy for a dip. It's got chicken, extra virgin olive oil (need those Omega-3's!) and lots of other great healthy stuff like corn and beans. Be sure to stop by her place and take a look at her recipe. With the Super Bowl coming up in a few weeks, it could be a great addition to your feast.

How about you ladies. How are you Blissfully Domestic this week? Those of you who are homeschoolers are back at it again after the Christmas break. Have any of you come up with new and better methods to mold your kids' minds? And with our country's economy in its delicate condition, have any of you frugal moms developed any new money-saving ideas that you would love to share with the rest of us?

Whatever it is, we can't wait to read your posts. I'll be reading everyone's posts looking for an idea that stands out and must be highlighted next week. So have fun! And if you're joining us for the first time, welcome! Here are the guidelines:

    Two comments –

    1. your links in the buttons go to the Flickr pics and not back to this page.

    2. It would be great to have a crafty-type button.

    Thanks!

I love all the recipe links! I don't cook much, so it's great to get ideas.

Will you see the new Twilight movie New Moon on Friday?
