I am Blissfully Domestic – Week 16

i am blissfully domestic I am Blissfully Domestic Week 16

I am so impressed with all the wonderful posts, especially from all the new ladies we have this week. Thanks for joining us, ladies, and we hope to see you all again this time around.

For those who celebrated Valentine's Day, I hope you had a day you remember. Maybe you just exchanged cards, maybe you baked a romantic dinner, maybe you sent and/or received flowers or a gift. Maybe you and your kids decorated your house with all kinds of fun, whimsical things. No matter what you did, I hope you all had a great time.

This week's highlight post is all about the wonderful handmade things you can send for Valentine's Day. I was transfixed by the variety of ideas, and I'm not even that crafty! Check out StacyMae's post at Kids Stuff World. You will be completely set for next year.

And if you haven't had the chance to read everyone's posts, I suggest you hop in there and give out some of that wonderful I am Blissfully Domestic comment love. They're all wonderful!

I'll be reading all the posts looking for one to highlight next week. If you're new here, welcome! We're so happy you've joined our little link party. We have some guidelines we like everyone to follow, and they are listed directly below.  Have fun!

  1. The Happy Housewife

We celebrated Valentine's Day by delousing our children, very romantic! Maybe next year we can do something a little more Valentinish!

I was having an allergy day on V-day, so the hubby and I ordered Applebee's Roadside to Go, watched "Nights in Rodanthe" (sp?), and then, we had to go pick up our 11 month old. But, it was still good.

  3. I always look forward to seeing entries from others! Thank you for continuing the bliss!

Hey! I'm usually either blissful OR domestic. So happy to have a post that's both that I could link to this week. :)

  5. We made some Valentine boxes/envelopes to slip in love notes from our family. I made up some letters and did the heart fold which was on Ali Hooper's post. They loved getting to open and read their notes. We had heart pancakes for breakfast and then a full dinner with marinated flank steak, homemade french fries, salad, and a special dessert. :D

  6. Spent my Valentine's Day on an airplane flying in from Germany. 13 hrs on a plane, 22 hours of travel, 2 toddlers, and 7.5 months pregnant.
    Pure heaven.
Anyway, thanks so much for highlighting the Valentine's post over at Kids Stuff World. I'll be sure to add all my Blissful badges ASAP, don't have access to my own PC right now due to the move.

Which Thanksgiving Food will be gone by day 2?
