I Will NOT Buy His Album!-The Bachelorette

music I Will NOT Buy His Album! The Bachelorette

After watching the last show, I couldn't think straight. I was horrified at the true colors I saw of a would-be country star. Pure disgust filled my body and mind. Was Wes playing a game the entire time with Bachelorette Jillian Harris? Was it edited for ratings? Did Wes' career soar from his exposure? Is he really that popular in Chiuhuahua, Mexico?

Okay, so the show took us to Spain this week, 4 fantasy dates in the country known for love and romance. Kiptyn is in Madrid with Jillian. What else do you do in Spain, but dance the Flamenco! The couple take a quick lesson (and no they shouldn't apply for So You Think You Can Dance!) and Kiptyn dons the world's tightest pants! I was uncomfortable at all the questions Jillian asked about his "boys" after that, so very frat-boy of her, but hey it's TV…or reality…or both…I can't remember! Later at dinner, the infamous shared room key for the Fantasy Suite arrives. I'm sort of shocked that Jillian denied it, but vaguely remember she wasn't all into it on the show with Jason (The Bachelor). Kiptyn and Jill share a quick bed snuggle and the night ends.

Reid's date is next, and I truly love them together. They have fun, they laugh, they goof around, they try their best speaking Spanish. At one point Reid claims he's real "grande" which actually means LARGE and not what he really meant. After all the talk about being so different, their romance is so natural and it's great that Reid shares he's jealous of the other men. He's real to me out of all the guys. Another nix on the Fantasy Suite, Jill has really scored points with me this episode, no need to be naughty.

Ed and Jillian share a horse and carriage and try to catch up for lost time. Their spark is still there, and even though he's a bit harder to trust bailing out on Jillian once, I do think that he's back for the right reasons. After telling Ed they are to sleep in their clothes, Jillian accepts the Fantasy Suite card and vows to continue to get to know Ed.

Finally, Wes and Jillian have a stressful, uncomfortable date. Having just been blasted by his closest friend on the show, Jake, for having a "girlfriend," Wes is cold and unaffectionate. Saying things like, "I'm gonna be true to myself…numero uno is most important" and blurting out, "my girlfriend…er…ex-" just made me want to slug him and run back to Reid's "grande" arms! Finally, Jillian was seeing Wes for the disrespecting jerk he is. To top it off, he thought the Fantasy Suite was a good idea…um yeah, for his bedpost!

I have to admit, I was shocked to see Wes at the Rose Ceremony. After their date, i was sure she'd sent him packing! He blew his mouth off again telling the men if he's sent home, he'll be sure to be having lots of $ex when he returns home! Wow, class act. In the end, Ed, Kiptyn and Reid get to say Aloha to Hawaii with Jillian.

Just to rub a little salt in the wound, the limo interview has Wes claiming he was the first man to last that long in the show with a girlfriend! UGH, he's so disgusting. Please tell me what you think!!

LIke I said, I had to take a shower after watching that show; what a slimebag.

  2. I know–he is a total creep.

  3. I know this is reality tv, but I really feel the producers should have done something. Jill is there to find love and she has said over and over that she wants the guys there for the right reason as well. The producers get to see and hear everything and I really think they should have stepped up and either pulled the jerk off the show or let Jill know that Jake was right. I know they need crap to boost rating, but this was too much. And as for the jerk…how can he possibly think that this show is going to help boost his career after seeing his true colors??

I am glad that jerk is gone and I will not ever by an album of his!!!

    GO REID!!

I watched this show as well and I was absolutely disgusted. However, I do not believe that it was a secret. I have a feeling that producers knew about this sort of thing and let it happen in order to keep things interesting. Although it is reality TV, I do not believe it is always "real", know what I mean?

  5. At the end of it all? The thing that bugs me the most is there are probably women lining up at home to be one of Wes' conquests. They'll think he's sexy, amazing and that they can be the woman to change his ways… That people cater to people like that just makes me ill. Really – what does his girlfriend think of herself to lower herself to his standards?

That the producers feel it ok to stab Jill in the back like that for ratings makes me ill, too. Although…we know it's happening and going to happen and yet so many of us tune in to watch week after week… After watching the previews, I didn't turn it on this time. I'm done. It's just wrong and while she signed on knowing what the show is like, Jillian deserves better (and so do the honest guys – however few they may be) and the selfish, disrespectful behavior of people isn't something I need to run my electric bill up to see.

  6. Ugh – I totally agree. He's a total slimeball and the only people I see who probably will buy his music are men with the same mindset: aka slimeballs

Will you see the new Twilight movie New Moon on Friday?
