If the parents have a good driving record for the past 2-3 years (no tickets or accidents) then a youthful driver could be eligible for a massive discount. They are always the ones who have the highest premiums (especially single boys under 25 years), so this youthful driver discount will knock off hundreds of dollars per term.

There is also a new parent discount for new mommies and daddies out there. From age 0-6 discounts are usually offered to parents to reduce premium as well.
