Recently I've been wanting to feature more and more about plus-size fashions here on Blissful Style. Because the truth is, a large percentage of American women wear size 16 and up. And you know what? There ARE cute plus-size clothes available. The imporant thing is not the size, but the fit. You just need to wear something that fits your body well. No matter what size!
Never has this point been better proved than by some beautiful bloggers who were rockin'
Lane Bryant fashions at BlogHer. Let me show you what I mean. Here's Angie of a Whole Lot of Nothing in a very cute, flattering, casual Lane Bryant outfit.

I love the cute, functional capris with the detailing on the pockets! And look at the detailing on that strappy tank!

The beading is so pretty (and totally draws they eye up), and although it's hard to see in the picture, there's a gathering just underneath the beading in the center that makes the fabric flow a little and is super-flattering.
Next up is everyone's favorite photographer, Mishi of Secret Agent Mama. Here she captures herself in a to-die-for Lane Bryant outfit.

I hardly know where to start. I *love* this outfit. First, the denim pencil skirt. It is the perfect piece for every wardrobe. So versatile. And the length on this one is perfect for Mishi. And her flowing, beautifully patterned tunic top is just amazingly pretty. It fit her so well, flowing without being baggy. The draping of the sleeve is also a gorgeous, flattering detail. Again, I adore this outfit.
Finally, we have the gorgeous, sassy VDog of Room 704. Here she is pcitured wth the rest of the Room 704 Babes and Carson Kressly and the Nikon Nite Out party. Check out her pink frock. Can you say RAWR!?

I love the way this pink dress fits at the bust, has the band under the bust to accentuate VDog's bodacious curves, and then flows away from the body. I love the color and it looks like it was REALLY comfortable. (Was it, VDog? Do tell!)
So, if you are wearing women's sizes, take a lesson from these beautiful Lane Bryant divas of BlogHer – find a fit and style that works for YOUR body (obviously Lane Bryant is a good place to start looking!

Thanks for this story, Jenny. I wear a lot (mostly) Lane Bryant, and you're right – they have a lot of cute clothes! Also, they almost always have some sort of sale going on or coupons available, which makes their not-cheap clothes more affordable.

All of you look BEAUTIFUL!!!!
I so love Lane Bryant. It's nice to not have to wear frumpy clothing just because I am a chunk.
