Living In The Good Old Days

relationships Living In The Good Old Days

Last Valentine's Day,  my husband made a mix CD for me (is it just me or does mix CD not have the same ring to it that mix tape does? sorry…I digress). There was a song on it by a singer/songwriter friend of ours, Zane Williams*, called "Livin' in the Good Ol' Days".  The premise of the song is that we should enjoy our time now, the present, because one day we will look back and reminisce about the "good old days". We are currently living those "good old days" and as a refrain from the song goes:

Life is lovely
Then is slips away
There's no comin' back to
Where we are today

I want to share that song with you today. It's in YouTube form, the video isn't all the great but it's the song that's important.

I have a quote in my home that says:

"Enjoy the little things; for one day you may look back and realize they were big things."

Be sure to go and enjoy the little things today and every day so that the "good old days" can be the best days, ever.
