There were lots of amazing fashions to be seen at BlogHer ‘09 this past weekend, and this week I’ll be posting on them! But today I just had to tell you about a very exciting fashion moment I had! I was wearing gorgeous outfits from my sponsor, Lands’ End all weekend and I felt very stylish. On Saturday evening I was thrilled to be invited by Tide to a party they had where I got to meet Tim Gunn of Project Runway. Of course, I was VERY nervous about what he would say about my outfit! It was one of my more casual evening outfits – two Lands’ End layering tanks (orange-red and light pink), a darker pink cotton modal skirt, some fabulous shoes, and a scarf to dress it up. Here’s Tim and I together:
And here is what he said to me about my Lands’ End outfit (before I could even ask him what he thought!): “I love what you’re doing with the red and the pink!” He also said that it “takes guts” to wear a color combo like that and that I was totally “making it work”! Woohoo! A fashion icon likes my outfit! Score! After that, I got my courage up to ask him how he liked my shoes. I was wearing these Lands’ End shoes, which I ADORE. But I wasn’t sure what Tim Gunn would think of something so different.
Tim’s verdict? He said the shoes were “great”! I said, “You wouldn’t lie to me would you?” He assured me he would not.
So there you have it! My Lands’ End outfit was Tim Gunn-approved! I think this should pretty much solidify my style street cred!

Rock on girlfriend! I for one LOVE The shoes!~
Having serious Tim Gunn envy here! He is so fabulous!
Wow. That is awesome! I think that would rank near the top in a list of “best day of my life” moments.
Your shoes WERE fabulous! Loved the whole outfit! Glad you could join us!

Rock on, blogging sister!
I love him. Truly. I can’t say how jealous I am about you, getting a photo with him, let alone his approval. Lucky Duck!
You looked great! If Tim Gunn told you you “made it work” then you are in! lol A very high complement if you ask me!
Those shoes ARE cute. I really love the bright, “happy” color.
