A few days before the event, my hubby informed me that he expected some of my attention BEFORE we left for his high school reunion. He said he wanted to be as relaxed and happy as possible, and that's what was going to work for him. I dropped our boys off at his parents house and had some time to myself on the drive back across town. I had myself entirely in the mood when I pulled in the driveway.

That reunion was one memorable event. He'd seach me out across the room (he mingled while I sat at a table with the wives of his friends - the girls I was really excited to catch up with), smile or wink, and Ay Carumba! It was like we were the only ones there. Old girlfriends got nothing on me...

Fabulous idea that predetermined quality time.

Thank you for this Wendy! My husband and I are really struggling with finding enough time for each other and sleep with two toddlers in the house. I especially appreciated your insights into how it is okay to plan for sex. Spontaneity is great, but not very helpful when you have little children around.
