I am not traditionally a big fan of frozen dinners. I have always found them to be bland, or the meat gets overcooked while the vegetables are still frozen so when I was given the opportunity to try Michael Angelo's single serve frozen meals I have to admit, I wasn't exactly jumping up and down. But, we're a busy family and there are a lot of times where a really good microwaveable meal would be the perfect thing for Nathan to take with him for lunch at work, or for me to pop into the microwave for a hot, fast, EASY delicious meal instead of running through the nearest What-a-burger or Subway.
When my coupons arrived I went to the store and got a couple lasagnas and a Chicken Picatta. The next day I sent a lasagna to work with Nathan and while the kids were napping, I popped the Chicken Picatta in the microwave. I can't tell you how surprised I was by the heady aroma coming from my microwave and when I pulled the plastic off the dish.. there were actual pieces of chicken and REAL artichoke hearts! The noodles were perfect, the chicken tender and moist and the sauce (while a bit on the oily side) was lemony, zingy, flavorful and perfect. I was skeptical, I admit it, I am now… a huge fan!!!
Nathan even called to tell me how much he enjoyed the lasagna and wanted to know when I was going to bring more home, he has since given his thumbs up on the chicken picatta, the lasagna, the eggplant parmesan and the eggplant lasagna! I'm telling y'all, if you need something delicious, quick, hot and truly satisfying… you need to check out the Michael Angelo's in your grocer's freezer.

I believe family dinners are very important because that is our time to talk about the day happenings. The kids share what happened at school and what is going on at school in the days to come. It's a time for the family to be together in this busy day and age.

My husband and I enjoy sitting down to dinner together because it gives us some time to relax and discuss our day! I also love having a great meal prepared for him as a small "thanks" for working so hard.
family dinners are important because we tend to be so focused on where we have to get to & what we need to do that we barely remember to enjoy each other at times! sharing a meal brings us closer together
Family dinners are important because it is the one uninterrrupted (hopefully!) time of day where everyone can talk, connect and catch up with each other
Family time is important because it's the best uninterupted bickering between kids time there is available… maybe I was supposed to say it's the best time to reconnect.
Family dinners are so important because it gives us a chance to connect, to hear about each other's day and to enjoy good food. Thanks for the chance.
family dinners are important because it's one of the few times that everyone is together at once! most of the time there seems to be at least one person missing from the family, but dinner is a time that everyone can be together.
oops forgot to mention in my comment that i am also subscribed to blissfully delish via rss. thank you so much for the great giveaway!

Family dinners are so important because that is the time the whole family gets to sit together, unwind and reconnect! It is the most precious time of the day and it is NOT so much about the FOOD as it is about the soul! It is when we all get to find out what makes each other tick! It is how we stay connected. The food is the facilitator so to speak and if it GOOD we are all in Harmony! hahah
Thanks for a GREAT Giveaway!
WE LOVE Michael Angelo's!!!

Family dinners are extremely important! In my family, it may be the only time we sit down face-to-face and engage in meaningful conversation. We learn about what is going in each other's lives, discuss upcoming events, and just enjoy each other.

Family dinners are important because it allows everyone to bond together and be informed about what is going on in the household. It also makes it easier to spot when something is wrong.
