Picture this. I have a 20 pound baby in one arm and a diaper bag on the other that's gotta weigh at least as much. My 5 year old is running, not sliding, down the slide at the playground. I'm trying to maintain some measure of grace and composure as I write down my email and phone number for a new friend that I'd like to meet up with for a playdate.
I'm not the only one to have been there, right?
Between the baby, the diaper bag and the 5 year old, grace and composure are the first (and hopefully only) to go. After recovering, I had a "duh" moment that led to this Mommy Business Card:

The flowers came from a brush that I installed in Photoshop Elements from Pixels and Ice Cream. Google "flower brushes Photoshop" and you'll find a ton of choices.
And here is one with a more boyish brush. It came from the famous Obsidian Dawn on Deviant Art.

Just for fun, I made a non gender specific version that used Microsoft Word clipart instead of a brush:

Office supply stores sell affordable and easy to use business card stock.
I can't tell you how much easier it makes meeting new people with these cards to hand out. We just moved and these have helped me maintain that grace and composure more than once!
Mommy Business Cards would make great DIY gifts for friends, too.
If you'd like to use these cards as templates (in PSD files), you can download them from this post on my website.

These are such a great idea. I really do need to get something like this made up. I'm always juggling the twins when we are out and so it's hard to find paper & pencil to write details down.
