Recently, my oldest daughter brought home her own “Book of Numbers” from her wonderful Kindergarten class. Upon inspection, my four year old immediately wanted to make one of her own.

Materials:
- printable template for “My Book of Numbers”
- variety of child-friendly magazines
- scissors
- glue stick
I created a simple template, stapled it together and gave her a variety of catalogues and children’s magazines to look through. As she found each picture that correlated with the numbers 1-10, she cut it out and pasted it on the correct page. It turned out to be the perfect snowy day activity. She remained engaged for quite a while and got plenty of counting practice!
