I don’t see the medical establishment trying to find the causes of autism, they seem content to say ‘but we have this drug that might help with the symptoms’, and I am constantly hearing the medical establishment saying its genetic — that way they can claim that they don’t have to do anything, and earn big bucks from the drugs to treat the symptoms

It is an indication that the link may not be as valid as previously thought. I mean, if my child's doctor told me he had cancer and I should take him home to die, I would not take just one doctor's word for it, KWIM?
