Organize my Home Please!

Are you surrounded by talented home organizers? With a place for everything and everything in its place?  I so want to be one of those people!  I have attempted many times to learn the art.  I do okay; generally I can find something after just a "little" frustration- but oh, I dream of all my photos in neat boxes with labels, and opening my pantry and going right to the item I want. Heaven!

I have learned a few tricks from talented friend and my daughter, which has helped me until I can achieve by dream.

Organizing Tips:

  • Organize like items in bins and then label.
  • throw away; give away and repurpose {these are a most do, if you want to stay ahead of the chaos!}
  • If you have something you just can't give away and it's definitely not trash {such as a family treasure} but it no longer has a place in your home- Share it with your children- let them enjoy it! {sorry kids}
  • File all of your recipes in one binder.

  • Turn your children's art work into blurb books.
  • Don't bring something into the home, unless something is going out.
  • Limit what you have- who needs 100 pens and pencils lying around when 10 will do?

I don't know what it is; but I could spent hours staring at  neatly organized shelves- yep…my kind of entertainment.

How do you organize?
