OriginOne founders Liz and Robert Pagliarini are serious about fashion. Their couture tees and thermals are custom-dyed and/or tea-stained and mineral washed for great color and softness. Each piece is unique, but the message the display is the same: “I am human. I am OriginOne.”
What started as an epiphany when they adopted a daughter (that as humans we are all related), has become a full-blown cause to promote human oneness. Not the kind of oneness that says, “Everyody’s great no matter what they do” (as they say on their web site “…there are a lot of people that suck. Terrorists, rapists, child molestors…”) but rather the type of oneness that looks past differences that don’t matter, and gives each person the opportunity to get to know each other for who they are inside – a human being, not a race, gender, or profession.
OriginOne is so serious about their cause, that they don’t want you to buy and wear their unity-promoting clothing unless you are serious enough to carry out their message. There is even an oath on their web site you should take before committing to wearing their socially conscious shirts!
Liz sent me OriginOne tee to try and it’s style is as unique as its message. It really is a quality, fashionable, well-crafted piece of clothing! It has a slim, modern fit, so if you like a more roomy fit, the men’s tees look great us on gals too.
