Pixar's Latest, "Up," Tugged At My Heartstrings

entertainment Pixars Latest, Up, Tugged At My Heartstrings

First things first, let me get this confession out of the way: I cried three times during this movie. Not because it was so horrible that I was crying for the time I had wasted in the theater watching the movie, but because the storyline touched me and genuinely, it made me feel for the characters.

Though certain parts of the movie definitely justified the movie's PG Rating (for "Peril and Adventure"), my daughters (ages 3 and 7) were not frightened, and remained glued to the action on the screen.

  1. I cried too! And it was early in the movie, when typically, a viewer wouldn't yet be connected enough with the characters to cry. I'm not a crier at movies, so this one blindsided me.
