I'm always looking for products which will streamline my beauty routine and anything which simplifies doing my nails makes the cut. I usually go with natural nails, but sometimes I want to look a bit more polished, heh.
I recently tried Nic's Sticks by OPI in a pale pink shade, Catch Ya Later! This nail polish couldn't be simpler to use. Just shake, prime by pumping a few times, and paint your nails. It goes on very thin and smooth, and dries quickly.
I have to say that using a nail polish pen is so much easier than dipping a brush in and out of a bottle trying to control the amount of polish. I had no idea how much easier it would be. I keep the pen in my purse for touch-ups, with no worries about breaking a bottle.
Even though the polish wears off more quickly than conventional polish because of the thin consistency, I don't mind because it's a breeze to whisk off this polish with remover and paint again. Adding a top coat makes it last a bit longer. The loss in wearing time is more than balanced by how great it looks and how easy it is to use. A little green bonus is that the polish in Nic's Sticks is free of DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde.
I will definitely buy this again and will be trying more colors. Maybe not the green, though.
Available at Target for $5.99.

these sound kind of awesome …I definitely remember some in the late 80's …possibly 90's that didn't work that well at all…but these are cheap enough to give a go.
