I'm a firm believer that education begins and ends at home.
What happens in between differs from child to child and family to family.
But no matter how, where, or when a child learns, every child can benefit from additional support and encouragement from time to time.

My favorite workbook feature is the Check It! feature. According to Sylvan, "checking your answers is part of learning." Each section of the workbook begins with a cut-out Check It! strip. This allows students to comfortably check their answers as they move throughout the book. What a great way to boost a child's confidence by allowing them to discover their correct answers while giving them permission to correct their mistakes on their own!
I would highly suggest the Success series to any child who is of reading age. The workbooks are engaging, thorough, and most importantly, effective.

My son once told me that he didn't think he was being challenged enough, words taken directly from the Sylvan commercial. LOL We'd love to try the 4th grade book. We're just finished grammar and are ready to move onto composition.
